Law students and the representatives of state authorities will learn about the online course in the field of asylum and migration standards.

Online course in International and European standards in the field of asylum and migration and their application and relevance for the Republic of Serbia that was created early this year within the project                   “Support to Strengthening Migration and Asylum Management in Serbia” will be presented to students and the representatives of state authorities. On Monday, 10 December 2018, students of the Belgrade University Law School will learn about the course at the promotional event at Mama Shelter hotel, and on Monday 17 December, the online course will be tested by the representatives of Refugees and Migration Commissariat, Asylum Office, Asylum Commission and Administrative Court at the Envoy conference hall.

 

Prof. Dr. Bojana Čučković, the coauthor and the Associate Professor at the Law School of Belgrade University, will inform the attendees about the structure, organization and advantages of the online course, organize its visual presentation at the online platform of the Training Center for Migration, present selected part of the course concerning the relevant international standards and their application, as well as the selected part of the course related to the legal framework of the Republic of Serbia and the practice of competent authorities.

 

After the presentation about the manner of testing and registration process, the participants will have the opportunity to test the acquired knowledge. Every attendee who gives correct answers to specific questions in each of the five tests, within the set time, will be allowed to participate in the final test, and, depending on the result, get the online certificate on successful completion of the course issued by the AIRE center.
